Class project on Book Creator “Legends of Mauritius”

In our Culture & Civilsation classes we read about the Irish Legend “George & the Dragon” and worked out the characteristics of a legend. Then we decided to write short legends linked to the historical past of Mauritius to commemorate the 50th Independence Anniversary of the island.

We progress through the different writing steps in groups. It was really fun and interesting sharing and exchanging our ideas.Then we went through the stage of typing (in turns) and illustrating. Further the project was monitored by those having better skills in IT to take photos of our illustrations and insert them to the texts.

Finally when the project was completed our teacher gave it to Mrs Stéphanie Lascourrèges who helped us to the final result which we invite you to read or listen to.
