ECO-SCHOOL

In line with the chapter on Resources depletion and the school’s Eco-school ambition, students of the 5eme International Section and champions of Eco-know held a conference in the school so as to sensitize students and teachers. The depletion of natural resources occurs when resources are consumed at a faster rate than their replacement and regenaration. Natural resources are those resources that exist without human actions and intervention, and they can either be renewable or non-renewable. Themes that were chosen by the students were: water usage, fossil fuel consumption, deforestation, destruction of natural habitats, extinction, endangered species, marine life and biodiversity.
